The Chicken Street Gang live in Chicken

Street and are in the same Year Five class

at Chicken Street School which is, of

course, in Chicken Street. Poppy has brittle

bones disease, Billie has a hearing problem

and Tom has autism. Along with Lucy and

Luke they aren’t just best friends but are the

Gang to call on when anything needs fixing

or solving – that’s anything from catching a

runaway elephant, digging up the park to

find treasure to trapping the biscuit factory

burglars.
