“Ask if they’ve got a staff shower you can

            use,” whispered Mrs Brown. “I don’t think


            any of us want to get in the car with you

            smelling like that.”


               The Chicken Street Gang looked at each

            other and sniggered. A young elephant in


            the next enclosure had strolled over to get a

            closer look. It waved its trunk in Mr Brown’s


            direction.

               “What I’d like,” said Mr Brown. “Is to


            borrow a….oh….er….ahh…er…”

               “Look out!” shrieked Poppy as a spray of

            water shot out of the elephant’s trunk,


            whizzed through the air and splattered half

            over Mr Brown and half over the supervisor.
