Special delivery
Now, I don’t know if you spotted what
happened there? If you didn’t then you’ll be
in for a big surprise in this next chapter. If
you did, well, then you’ll probably still be in
for a surprise.
The next morning Poppy was woken by a
very loud beeping noise. This wasn’t
anyone’s alarm clock. It was coming from
outside in Chicken Street.
Beep…beep…beep….beep….
Poppy tried pulling the covers over her
head. It was no good. She pulled herself
out of bed, got into her wheelchair and went
over to her bedroom window.
