Now that an elephant had arrived
unexpectedly, Mrs Brown felt very flustered.
It’s not a good idea to bake cakes when
you’re feeling very flustered. Soon there
was flour spilt on the floor, blobs of
margarine on her recipe book and egg shell
in the cake mixture. Oh dear.
“What’s Miss Prune going to think when
she sees an elephant in our garden?” she
worried.
It was time for the Chicken Street Gang to
come up with another good idea.
“We’ll stop her from seeing the elephant!”
said Billie. “How?” said Tom.
“We’ll stay outside with Wilma and keep
her away from the windows. “
