“Harry ! Don’t be unkind. Clara is just a bit
upset, that’s all.”
Clara was speaking through the squeals
and blubs.
“I can’t go to my dance class like this! I
don’t understand it. It wasn’t there this
morning!”
“There, there!” said Mum. “I’ll get the first
aid box. We can cover it up with a plaster.”
The look on Clara’s face was desperate.
“I can’t go about with a plaster on my
face!” she said. “I’ll look ridiculous!”
“Well, it’s that or the spot,” Mum said.
“You choose.”
Wow! So that was the problem. There
was a massive spot on the end of Clara’s
