Your New School Day
On the first day allow plenty of time to get there.
Stay with the other new pupils if there are any – you
can support each other.
If it’s just you that’s new then find out before the first
day where you need to go when you arrive. Maybe
you’d prefer one of your parents to take you in on
your first day?
Look after your new timetable – you’ll need it to know
where you have to be at different times.
If you’re not sure where to go at the end of a lesson
then ask other pupils around you. Or ask the teacher.
Use your homework diary or a note book to write
things down if you’re asked to remember things for
the next day or the future.
