“Hi, Billie!”
“Have you tried the biscuits yet?”
Billie told her what had happened.
“Sounds crazy!” said Poppy.
“Tell me about it!” said Billie.
“I’m getting a new swim costume to wear
at The Water Park!” said Poppy.
And then Poppy described the new
costume she would be getting. If Poppy
hadn’t been one of her best friends Billie
might have been a tiny bit jealous. Okay,
she was a bit jealous anyway.
“Lucky you!” she said.
A few minutes later the girls finished
chatting and Billie put her phone back in her
jeans pocket. Now she felt even more fed
