loved it. And she loved seeing Tom every

            day too.


               “Stop!” Lucy puffed. “There can’t be

            anything really wrong, Tom.”


               Tom stopped – not because Lucy had

            said so, but because he was out of breath


            and had a stitch in his side. That was one of

            the reasons why Tom didn’t usually like


            running – that and because he wasn’t really

            built for running. Whatever that meant.


            That’s what his mum and the PE teacher

            said anyway. Tom didn’t really care about

            being not very good at running. Right now


            he just cared about seeing Gran.

               Two minutes later they were ringing the


            doorbell to Park House. Tom rattled the
