curiosity was seeping through him. There was

            a familiar look about the place he was in. It

            was as though it was somewhere he had been

            hundreds of times before. But Jay couldn’t

            remember where it was or what it was called.

               He took five extra slow steps forwards and

            several steps round in a small circle. His eyes

            darted everywhere not resting on anything for

            more than a few seconds: the dust path, the

            huge forest, the blue sky and wonderfully

            warm sun that bathed him in hot summer heat.

            There were sounds - loud, shrill bird calling

            noises and leaves rustling in the trees.

               “It can’t be!” he whispered to himself. “It’s

            not possible. It looks so like...”

               Something was moving on the path behind

            him. He froze. What was it? The bushes on

            one side of the path were stirring. There was a
