This was true. Saying ‘Go go’ was one of

Harry’s favourite things to say. It didn’t

usually mean anything.

Billie laughed. Harry was always making

Billie laugh. She wished she could stay at

home and play with him. She’d have liked

to make him a tall tower with his giant baby

bricks, just so that he could knock it down.

Or, she could have helped him to practise

his walking. Or, she and Mum could have

pushed him in the buggy round to the park

after they’d been to the Baby Food Clinic.

That would have been a good way to spend

an extra day off. But Mum had said they

might be all morning at the Baby Food
