Tom felt a mixture of excitement and
worry. Tom always felt like that when he
was about to do something new he’d never
done before. His mum said it was to do with
his autism. Tom had autism. Right now his
stomach felt like it was churning around like
a washing machine. It was churning around
so much that he couldn’t eat any breakfast.
He did manage some orange juice and two
bites of toast with jam. The last time Tom
had felt like this was the day he had gone
on an aeroplane for the first time. That had
been mainly just exciting though. Getting
the plan to save Park House to work was
much more worrying.
