was always coming up with good ideas.
Mrs Young was surprised to see the
children visiting so early, but she was very
busy getting ready for Mr Snarling’s visit.
“Your gran is in the lounge with everyone
else,” she said, smiling at Tom.
Mr Young was spraying polish on the stair
rail.
“I really don’t think a shiny stair rail will
make any difference to Mr Snarling, dear!”
said Mrs Young.
“Of course it will,” fussed Mr Young.
“Everything has to be clean and perfect. We
do want him to buy the place after all!”
