sister from not getting her part in the
musical would have all sorts of... well,
useful spin-offs for you.”
“Useful spin-offs?”
“Just think how many favours she’d owe
you!”
“A life-time’s worth?”
“Exactly! And there’s more.”
Now I was interested.
“Your parents will adore you for ever.
You’ll get everything you’ve ever wanted.”
