Talking to someone
With bigger worries it can also be a good idea to tell someone about
what you’re worried about. This is especially true if your worry is
making you feel unwell or afraid or you can’t sleep. It is important to
tell someone if you are being bullied too.
You could talk to your mum or dad or big sister or brother, grandpa,
grandma or a nice teacher or other nice grown-up who knows you.
Grown-ups have lots of experience in dealing with worries and can
help you deal with yours. If you have very big worries, it can really
help to talk about it to someone else so don’t keep big worries or
very upsetting worries all to yourself. It is okay and good to tell
someone.
There isn’t one single worry in the whole world that someone else
hasn’t had too. Honestly. So you’re not alone.
