“Have you got a new computer, Uncle Jim?” Ben
asked. “Has it got games on it?”
“I don’t know,” said his Uncle. “I only use it for work.”
“That sounds boring,” said Ben.
“Ben!” said Mum. “Don’t be rude!”
“Tell you what,” said Uncle Jim. “You can have a
quick look at it if you like.”
Ben didn’t need telling twice. He rushed out of the
door and grabbed a quick drink of water from the kitchen.
He gulped it down fast and then hurried into Uncle Jim’s
study.
“Wow!”
Ben couldn’t believe his eyes. Uncle Jim had the most
fantastic computer on his desk. The screen was huge.
“Fancy only using that for work!” Ben said out loud.
“What a waste. I bet there are games on it!”
He could hear the grown-ups still talking in the next
room. Uncle Jim had said he could have a quick look. Ben
walked over to the computer and sat down. The chair was
