Suddenly Ben’s soldier got hit on the left arm. He
hadn’t seen that monster. It wasn’t too bad though. He
wasn’t out. He might as well continue.
Then suddenly something very odd started to happen.
Ben took his hand off the mouse and rubbed his left
arm. It had a horrible achy feeling. It felt as though it was
his arm that had just been splodged, not the soldier’s!
There was another burst of music. Ben decided to
move the soldier on. This time he would be more careful.
He was going to get the next monster - not the other way
round.
SPLODGE!
“Got him!” Ben cheered.
“Ben! Where are you? We’re going in ten minutes!”
Ben heard his mum’s voice. It seemed to be coming
from a long way away.
“He’s probably found that computer of yours, Jim!”
Auntie Sue’s voice was saying.
