her head. “I feel so dizzy!”

Jay caught hold of her arm and handed

Binny the weapon.

“I won’t need this anymore, Binny!” he said.

“Abby and I have to go now. Our way out,

back to where we need to get to is here. You

wait here for the others. You’re going to get to

the New Land. Trust me!”

“But…!” Binny objected. “I can’t just leave

you. I mean…what do you mean where you

need to get to?”

Abby and Jay peered through the dust at

Binny. There was no time to explain anything

further. It would do no good anyway. Binny

couldn’t understand about the real world,

could he? The seconds were ticking. Jay

grabbed Abby’s arm and leapt toward the
