Chapter Four

There was no doubt about it; Abby was

good at The Journey. Considering she’d never

even heard of that game - let alone tried it -

she was brilliant. That was what Jay thought

as he watched her speed read through the

instructions and get the Pioneers started on

their journey.

“That one is Ella,” said Jay pointing at the

screen. “She’s the leader. She had a deputy

called Lewis, but he got captured. I let him go

off the path to get the water supply back from

a chimp who stole it. Then he got caught by

the Groundlings. You can rescue captured

characters if you want or just carry on. If you

carry on and lose the game at some point,

when you start again the captured character is

still missing.”
