Groundling shrinks into the ground.”
“Wow!” Abby agreed. “So how many
Groundlings have you got them to blitz so
far?”
“None!” Jay admitted. “They’re too scared
to stand and face them. They always run away
instead!”
Abby was staring at one of the Groundling
characters on the cd cover.
“They’ve got scary boggling eyes that can
see in the dark,” Jay went on. “They come up
through piles of rock in the ground. They don’t
like the light. That’s why they live
underground and only come up in the dark
parts of the jungle or at night time in the
desert.”
