You’d think they’d have weapons or

“But the Groundlings are huge and

dangerous,” Jay explained. “They don’t need

weapons. They overpower the Pioneers and

they’re terrified of them.”

“So what weapons have the Pioneers got?”

Jay frowned.

“They’re called blitzers,” he said. “They

have to get up close to the Groundlings first to

use them. They have to stare right at them,
