Abby sat back and tapped her fingers on the

mouse mat. The characters in the game were

running aimlessly up and down the path -

definitely in need of direction. Ella was staring

straight ahead though. She often did that - as

though she were looking straight at the

person playing the game and waiting for

instructions. Abby finally clicked on the path

just in front of her. Ella waved her arms at the

others and they started walking - onwards.

One held back a bit. He was called Zak.

“The Guide is there for a reason,” Abby

nodded. “I reckon it’s like a code to the game.

You can ignore it if you want to, but then you

have to work out what to do next for yourself.”

Jay was still thinking how the Pioneers

wouldn’t survive without water.
