Chapter Six
Inside his bedroom, Jay kicked at the
computer chair. It whizzed across the room on
its wheeled legs and slammed into the desk…
Crash!
“Hey! Calm down up there!
There were voices downstairs - Dad’s,
Abby’s and what sounded like Abby’s mum
too.
Jay threw off his school jumper and hurled
it across the room. Then he pulled off his
shoes and chucked them under the bed.
“It’s been the worst day of my life. I’m going
to hate it at Hill Road,” he groaned.
Next he chucked the rucksack hard against
the wall. The plastic buckle clunked and left a
mark before sliding down to the floor.
“Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Jay said.
