when he got to the point where he knew his

face would whack into the monitor...it didn’t.

For a moment Jay felt as though he was

sitting in the middle of a rainbow. The colours

were swirling all around him. Jay would have

put his hands down and felt for the desk to

steady himself. He would have looked away,

but for some reason he couldn’t move. Then,

the next thing he knew he was feeling light-

headed and light-bodied. He laughed out loud.

Or at least he thought he laughed out loud, but

he couldn’t actually hear himself.

Whoosh! Suddenly colours were swirling all

around him and he felt as though he was

being sucked into the centre of the swirl and

down through the plug hole! He laughed

again. Now he was falling, falling, slowly,

slowly down and down and down. Then the
