I groaned. I didn’t want Arabella sharing my room. It
wasn’t that the room was too small. It was fantastically big.
It has to be big for my wheelchair. It was just that Arabella
was freakishly tidy. She got into all my private stuff.
Tidying it all up.
The door opened and Dad looked in at the burnt toast.
“Mmm very nice. Can’t stop. Must get to work. Bye
twins!”
“Bye dad!” we said.
After school on Friday we had to help Mum get
everything ready. We unfolded the spare bed and put the
sheets on. We even got the spare duvet and a towel from
the airing cupboard. Josh and I had our plan all ready, but
we couldn’t let Mum get suspicious.
The doorbell rang at exactly four twenty. Mum opened
the door.
“Hi!” she said and gave The Alien and Auntie Jill a
hug. Josh and I stayed where we were in my room. The
Alien would find us soon enough.
