and less family hanging around all the

time. But Gary longed for what Josh

had. Sometimes he wished he could

be in his world.

Sometimes Gary was in Josh’s world

– sort of. Sometimes he stayed over

with Josh and they stayed up nearly

all night playing computer games or

talking or eating pizza. Great! Yeah,

Gary reckoned it would be like that all

the time if he and Josh were brothers!

“See you later then?” Josh’s words

interrupted his day dreaming. They’d

arrived in their street at Gary’s gate.

“Okay!” Gary said. “See you

tomorrow?”

Gary pushed open the gate and
