“I’ve always thought they were too strong
and too savage to stand up to,” Ella said.
“So you all just run?” Lewis said. “But to
get rid of monsters you need to face them
first.”
Zak was the only one to grumble about how
long they had taken.
“We could have gone on without you,” he
moaned to Ella. “I don’t know why we have to
stick together. It’s been a waste of time.”
“It’s safer if we travel together,” Ella
explained. She was getting tired of Zak’s
complaints. “I’m glad you waited.”
Rosie was trying to say something.
“It’s just as well we were here,” she said.
“Because a girl from Jay’s group has found
us. We’ve found Abby, Jay. Your friend Abby
is with us!”
