“Keep moving!” Ella ordered.

They broke into a run. It wasn’t easy running

in the dark and they daren’t use the torch light

now. Jay tripped and stumbled forward. Lewis

stopped and hauled him back on to his feet

again.

Finally they found another way up and out

of the tunnels. Scrambling and climbing fast

they were soon all out of the underground

world and back in the forest. But…

No sooner had they turned to rush back to

the safety of the path and the others when

there was a sudden explosion of stones and a

massive Groundling appeared right behind

them.

Suddenly everyone was yelling and

screaming and paralysed with fear as the
