Chapter Eight
Jay shifted uneasily from one foot to the
other. Hands on hips he waited for Ella’s
answer.
“Well?” Jay could wait no longer. “What
er…what have you…what have you decided?”
he asked.
Ella’s serious look turned into a smile.
“It’s okay!” she said. “We’ve decided that
you can’t possibly keep wandering about on
your own. It’s not safe. We might not know
much about you, but...”
“We don’t know anything about him,” Binny
broke in.
“BUT” said Ella, “we’ve all agreed. Jay, you
can travel with us.”
“Oh!” Jay let out a sigh of relief. “Thanks!”
