“Oh,” Poppy said. “Please don’t…I
mean…it’s not really…”
“That’s alright dear,” said Mrs Blast.
“Good idea to have a sign there. You
wouldn’t want people standing around
making a noise.”
“Quick!” said Poppy as soon as Mrs Blast
had gone.
The four friends went quickly and as
quietly as they could back to The Den.
Billie and Tom picked up the table tennis
bats and started batting the table tennis ball
to each other.
Clonck, bat, clonck, bat it went across
the table.
