“Has anyone thought of a proper name
for The Den yet?” asked Billie.
They’d all been thinking up names. So far
none of them sounded right though. Billie
pulled a little notebook and chunky pencil
out from her jean’s pocket.
“Well, this is what we’ve got so far,” she
said. “Friend’s Den? Our Place? Hmm, not
sure. The Hideout? I’ve gone off that one.
The Space Zone….”
“Yuk!” laughed Luke.
“But that was your idea!” Poppy grinned.
The garage door squeaked open and the
fifth member of the Chicken Street Gang
stepped in: Lucy.
