“Look out!” Al and Specks

shouted.

Gary had to tip himself sideways

and brake at the same time to avoid

hitting them. And Josh did the same.

“Idiots!” jeered Al – trying not to

look startled as he jumped across the

pavement.

Specks hadn’t been so lucky. It

wasn’t that Gary or Josh had run him

over – more an over-reaction on his

part as he’d leapt out of the way of the
