changing the subject.

“I was,” Jay nodded. “That was amazing

what Lewis did though. Did you hear what he

said? To get rid of your monsters you have to

face them first?”

Abby nodded.

“Yeah,” she said. “And they’re just bullies

anyway. I mean how many Pioneers have they

managed to capture and hang on to? None. Of

course, the Pioneers don’t know that. They

think they’ve captured the group we were

travelling with. Really though, they haven’t got

anyone captured at the moment. The Pioneers

are letting the Groundlings scare them when

they could easily stand up to them. How many

Groundlings have the Pioneers blitzed?”
