DANGERS
For a moment no one spoke. Jay knew they
were used to seeing messages like this. He
knew they would have to agree what to do.
Ella, as leader, turned and faced the others.
“The most important thing is to stay safe,”
she announced.
“But the fields are a short-cut,” Zak said. “If
we stick to the path through the trees it will
take forever. We’ve been travelling through it
for too long.”
Binny looked annoyed.
“You’re not the leader!” he mumbled.
Zak sniggered.
“That’s for sure!” he scoffed. “We’d be there
by now if I was. When are we ever getting out
of this place? We’ve got the desert to get
