“Oh just move out of the way, move out of
the way!”
Binny helped Rosie to her feet and rudely
pushed Jay aside. Jay didn’t understand why
Binny didn’t like him. It wasn’t as if he had
done anything wrong.
“Flick! What are you doing up there? Come
down; it’s too dangerous!” Binny called.
But Flick wasn’t bothered about that. She
just wanted everyone to know what she had
discovered.
“It’s water!” she called down. “I can see
water through the trees!”
The Pioneers gasped in amazement. Water
was just what they wanted. It would mean
leaving the safety of the path, but before Ella
could stop them they were leaping and
bounding over the forest floor. Laughing, they
