almost fell into the small pool which sparkled

and bubbled in the shade of the dark trees.

Jay and Ella followed. Ella looked pleased that

they had found water, but annoyed that the

group had rushed off the path without

stopping to think if it would be safe. This

wasn’t the time to tell them off though. Binny

was busy refilling the giant water container

with clear, clean natural spring water.

Everyone else was either topping up their

smaller water bottles or splashing the cool

water over their heads and faces.

“It feels wonderful!” said Rosie.

“I wish it was a lake, though!” giggled Flick.

“If it was a lake I’d jump in and swim!”

Ella shook her head.

“Let’s be quick everyone,” she ordered. “It’s

great we’ve found this, but we need to be quiet
