walk to school together.

“I got a bike for my last birthday,” Jake

reminded me as we viewed the pile.

“Well, I guess there could be a midget-

sized bike in one of those,” Clara said.

“Very funny!” I huffed.

I examined the presents. Most were

easily identifiable by their shapes. Definitely

at least two books amongst them and

probably a dvd.
