Lauren’s Story
“There’s no one to look after you,
Lauren!”
That’s what the social worker said.
But what she really meant was: “No
one wants you at their house, Lauren.
So you’re going to the foster home.
Like it or not!”
When I said that’s what she really
meant she denied it of course. But I
don’t see how it can’t be true.
My mum has to go into hospital
because she is ill. Dad hasn’t got
room for me in his flat with his new
girlfriend. Grandma and grandad J are
too old and grandma M is in an old
