contagious or something. Anyway, I

don’t talk about it because no one

understands.

This afternoon I’m going to Josie and

Tom’s house. They’re the foster

parents. I’ve stayed with them before

– last summer. A boy called Gary will

be there. His Dad is in hospital too –

with the same illness that my mum

has. He was there last summer as

well – not because Josie and Tom are

his foster parents, they’re actually his

real life aunt and uncle. He’s sooo

lucky. I wouldn’t tell him about Mum

though. He’s okay, but I know he

hates me! That’s because I’m mean to

him. I have to be. I can’t have friends
