been just waiting for them. The
perfect task for Al to prove himself
worthy of joining the gang.
The lane was pretty quiet. Good.
That meant less chance of being
caught. That meant more chance of
screeching the bends and swerving
the corners.
Al crunched the gears and
speeded up. He was enjoying this far
more than he thought he would. But
Gary was terrified. This was all his
fault. He’d allowed Al and Specks to
talk him into getting into the car. Why
had he done that? He was such an
idiot. Why did he let Al and Specks tell
him what to do?
