the path again. Then it would be a straight run

back to where he had entered the game. Jay

had decided that the way out would be the

same place as the way in. If he just ran

towards it then hopefully he would find

himself falling back into his own bedroom.

He was soon back on the path again and he

didn’t hang about. He ran fast, stepping and

leaping over fallen branches and logs as he

went. His plan was to get back to the point

where he’d entered the game. Then he would

look for something that looked like the way

out. He didn’t know what it would look like, but

Jay was sure it would be there. It had to be.

After a long run Jay got out of breath. It was

then that he spotted the fallen tree trunk and

decided to sit down – just for a few minutes.
