Jay wriggled his shoulder, but couldn’t get

            away from Binny’s grip.

               “You have to let me go,” he tried. “I can’t

            explain. It’s not anything that you might

            think.”

               “What do you think I might be thinking?”

               “Oh I don’t know,” Jay snapped. “You

            probably think I’m some sort of spy. You’re

            daft enough.”

               Binny stared down at him.

               “Look, Jay,” he spoke slowly and quietly.

            “It’s my job to be suspicious and look out for

            anyone and anything unusual we come across

            on the journey. You’ve got to admit you did

            just appear from nowhere.”

               “I didn’t appear from nowhere,” Jay blurted

            out. “That’s just it. I came
