switched the torch on fast. Binny was flapping

“It’s ...it’s ...” Jay gasped. “Snakes! The

snakes down here are poisonous!”

Ella raised her torch and aimed the end of it

at the snake’s head.

Whack! She struck at the creature. It raised

its head towards her. She and Jay leapt back

out of the way. Whack! A second strike
