Groundlings lost no time grabbing his ankle

through the bars of the cage. Jay watched as

Ella and Lewis disappeared into the dark

tunnel. He was on his own.

“Get off me!” he shouted at the ugly

creature. He tried kicking at the Groundling’s

hand with his other foot, but it was no use.

The Groundlings were used to struggling

prisoners.

“Pass us that key!” hissed the Groundling.

He flashed a grin of large sharp green teeth.

“Or I’ll bite your ankle off.”
