suddenly it was gone all together. It had vanished into thin
air.
The only clue left that it had been there at all was a
strange echoey, scratching and squeaking sound.
Kim moved fast.
“Aghhh! Mum! Mum!” she screamed as she
scrambled towards the top of the ladder. “I’ve seen it! It’s
up here! There really is one! Help!”
She had seen it with her own eyes - the huge white
mouse with the long grey tail.
